Astrology for Beginners with Healer Valerie - 3 class series - Via Zoom (2 hours) October 24th - 7pm-9pm
Valerie McMorris will teach astrological signs, symbols, planets, and house energy for beginning astrology. Valerie will walk you through the process of interpreting your own natal chart, and life path. We will discuss all the angles and symbols and their meanings that influence the issues and energy of one’s life; as well as learning about retrograde motion and how that changes the experience of planetary energies.
Students will offer their own Birth information: birthdate, birth time, and city of birth when they sign up for class so we can use their birth chart as we begin our interpretations in class. Students will receive information emailed to them before class that will cover astrologic signs, symbols and house energy and our discussion for that class.
Each student should purchase Astrology dice, which are sold on Amazon, or you can purchase them at Dreams West, Located in Sea Cliff, NY.Please have the astrology dice with you for the start of the first class. The dice are a wonderful tool for basic interpretation and will help you to practice your signs and symbols and commit them to memory.
Class 1. Basic signs, elements, planets, and house information as well as the movement of the houses. We will discuss retrograde motion and how that changes the energy of a planet or sign. We will look at charts with intercepted houses and how that changes the set up of their birth chart/ and how the energies impact the individual . We will also discuss Chiron, Black Moon Lilith as well as the Moons’ North and South Nodes placement within a chart.
Class 2. We will look at aspects within a natal chart both challenging and beneficial, such as conjunction, opposition, trine, Sextile and Quinqux and how these energies work together within a house or sign. We will discuss Stelliums, handles, hemispheres, Kazimis, and other interesting combinations that build energy and enhance certain aspects within a chart. Andwe will practice with each other with astrology dice.
Class 3. We will discuss symbols, and planets in aspect to one another -along with house energies and interpret them. We will discuss planetary activity that may suggest health issues, or challenges within relationships. We will look at generational energies and how that may influence a generation. We will also look for planetary combinations that may offer help to the individual throughout life. We will review patterns and discuss/interpret each other’s natal charts.
